KITCHEN RENOVATION

The renovation concerned an existing house with an absolutely classic style of decoration. The kitchen to be replaced was made with materials and style of the 70s. It was therefore chosen to bring the classic style of the house to the walls and floor of the kitchen, but to have the kitchen furniture follow simple austere lines with timeless materials such as copper, Carrara marble and matte lacquer. The accessories and fixtures were chosen from oxidized bronze while the lighting became mostly indirect and hidden with minimal spots – on the counters and the island. The floor was made of finished panels of brushed oak with a border of oxidized bronze slats.
